First-generation Camaro debuted on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seating, coup or convertible with a choice of 250ci inline-6 and 302ci, 307ci, 327ci, 350ci, or 396ci V8 powerplants. The Camaro was touted as having the same conventional rear-drive, front-engine configuration as Mustang and Chevy Nova. In addition, the Camaro was designed to fit a variety of power plants in the engine bay. The first-generation Camaro would last until the 1969 model year.
This '69 Camaro SS 396 Big Block is one rare, fast, and highly desirable investment quality classic.
This 1969 Camaro SS 396 Big Block is one true beauty. This car presents beautifully and drives just as great as it looks. The Garnet Red Paint shines like new along with the black vinyl top on this laser straight body as the car was frame on restored many years ago. The car runs very strong and is fast! It has a fully built 396 Big Block engine that was dressed up to that similar of the L78 Big Block 396/375hp. Backed by a 4-Speed Muncie Manual Transmission. The car has many rare options such as Factory Power Windows, Big Block Blacked-Out Tail Panel Factory Center Console w/ Clock, Front Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, High Performance Headers, Factory SS Steering Wheel, Factory Rear Window Defroster, and much more! This car has a Built 8.5" 10 Bolt Rear which is arguably just as strong as a 12 Bolt! It has many new parts including: all new suspension/bushings, new 3" Custom Flowmaster H-Pipe Dual Exhaust System, new fuel tank, and much more! The car drives very tight and looks very straight. We are confident this car can be driven long distances with ease!
